Yoga helps us to develop the ability to become quiet and still inside; to make contact with and experience ourselves. The practice of mindfulness and Yoga help us to experience balance more consistently so it’s available when we need it most.

Discover Yourself

  • Strength & Length: Mon 5:30-6:30pm

A blend of Pilates exercises and Yoga poses, with focus on core strength and whole body length.


Yoga is the practice of balancing our internal and external environments. The central methods of yoga are physical postures or asanas and movement, breathing techniques or pranayama and meditation. Asana poses can be seen as points which string together to make a theme of underlying wisdoms, which motivate and bring balance to daily life. Yoga includes guidance on healthy lifestyle, eating habits, mental attitude, and Ayurvedic medicine as part of the Yogic path to health and balance.


Bio: Julie Marques studied Patanjali Yoga in Nepal from 1998-2000. Although she enjoyed many Vinyasa yoga classes from many teachers and studios, she didn’t complete her formal education until 2018 when she joined Rolf Gates in the first POC Yoga Certification in Berkeley, Ca. She received her formal Yoga Alliance Certification, with a focus on meditation. Julie is thankful to Rolf for his dedication to teaching yoga through meditation.

It is not a one size fits all approach or even one style of movement fits all but a multifaceted approach to a movement lifestyle that helps us connect into our bodies, express our personalities and deepen our mind body spirit relationship. When you join the move 2 Change approach, you enter a virtual or live community experience with classes to meet your core needs.
