Yoga movement is synchronized to the breath to create a continuous flow from one pose to the next. It is a smooth way of moving, finding stillness in pauses that are adventurous and integrated through core to make a challenging and harmonic dance.
Yoga is a practice of movement initiated by breath, taking time to get into, stay with and move through each pose. This practice is great for beginners and suitable for all levels. We take time to explore safely, with breath and core muscles integrating each movement.
In 1998, Julie discovered yoga and meditation. She learned Asanas while living in Kathmandu, Nepal. Her practice grew out of a life long practice in floor movement, dedicated years of studying and teaching Tai Chi, Qi Gong and meditation.These are guided and explorative Yoga mat classes.
