 Barre classes develop core strength and alignment, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability. Combining Pilates, Ballet, strength training, cardio and dance moves, Pilates Barre classes tone whole body muscles and increase endurance.

PILATES EQUIPMENT

Pilates equipment works with pressure and light force of chords and springs to help movers access hard to feel core muscles and core muscle chains for greater mobility, flexibility, rehabilitation and strength training.

PILATES MAT 

Mat classes are the foundation for all Pilates exercises. Using a mat and props such as balls, bands and light weights, mat classes focus on building core strength, flexibility, stability and mobility through a safe progression of Pilates exercises.

 NOTE~ The move 2 Change Oakland location is a small, in home studio. The studio holds up to six movers at a time for group classes, and one or two people with single and duet reformer classes. Please email or call in advance for details and location information.
